1.2 Domain Connection Errors

If your custom domain is not connecting properly to your system, review the common domain connection issues below to quickly identify and resolve the problem inside your Go High Level CRM setup.

1. Incorrect DNS Records :

  • Ensure your A Record or CNAME record is pointing to the correct IP address or target URL provided in your dashboard.

  • Remove old or conflicting DNS records that may interfere with the connection.

2. DNS Propagation Delay:

  • Domain updates can take 24–48 hours to fully propagate worldwide.

  • During this time, your domain may show errors or fail to load temporarily.

3. SSL Certificate Not Active:

  • SSL activation may take a few minutes after DNS verification.

  • Avoid making repeated DNS changes while SSL is processing.

4. Wrong Domain Added in CRM:

  • Double-check that the exact domain (with or without www) matches what is configured in your account settings.

5. Registrar Lock or Expired Domain

  • Confirm your domain is active and not expired.

  • Make sure it is not locked or restricted at the domain registrar level.
